You can evolve both Pokemon Go Leafeon and Pokemon Go Glaceon. These new Eevee forms have some familiar elements. Eevee is one of the most fascinating pokemon that you can get in Pokemon Go. The method for evolving Eevee in Pokemon Go is a little different from what you may use. There are no elemental stones. Niantic has chosen a new way to determine which form Eevee takes when evolving.
How to Get Leafeon & Glaceon in Pokemon Go
As there are two unique nicknames, you can give to your Eevee to evolve it into either Leafeon or Glaceon. It works as the following:
- You can edit the name of your Eevee prior to evolution.
- Then you can guarantee the specific Eevee-lution
- Then you receive for the first evolution only.
- If you already get one, the nickname trick will not work.
Here are all of the Eevee-lution nicknames:
- Leafeon —- Linnea
- Glaceon —- Rea
- Flareon —- Pyro
- Jolteon —- Sparky
- Vaporeon —- Rainer
- Espeon —- Sakura
- Umbreon —- Tamao
You receive the respective Pokemon but only for the first evolution. You need to follow the assigned method for subsequent evolutions. The method for Leafeon and Glaceon is as follows:

To evolve Eevee into Leafeon:
- You need to ensure that you have the 25 Eevee candy for the evolution.
- Then You can buy a Mossy Lure module from the Poke Shop for 200 Poke Coins. And you can get them for free as rewards at some point in the future. But, for now, you need to buy them.
- Then use the Mossy Lure module on a PokeStop.
- Then spin the PokeStop.
- You need to choose the Eevee you want to evolve.
- You make sure that you see the Eevee-lution you want before continuing.
- Then hit the Evolve button.

To evolve Eevee into Glaceon:

Get and use the Glacial Lure and Mossy Lure to get Glaceon and Leafeon
Glaceon and Leafeon are the final current Eeveelutions available in Pokemon Go. In order to evolve, you need some new items which are the Glacial Lure and the Mossy Lure. These two new types of Lure Modules are available in the shop. These lures exist to makes you more able to catch different Pokemon: the Glacial lures in Water and Ice-type Pokemon. The Mossy attracts Bug and Grass types.
When they are placed, they can impact Eevee Evolution. You can simply place one of the lures in a Pokestop. If you place the Mossy Lure, you can be able to evolve any Eevee you have into Leafeon. If you place the Glacial Lure on a Pokestop, you can be able to evolve into Glaceon.
To evolve Multiple Umbreons And Espeons:
The second method of evolving Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon exists and it is very easy.

- You need to make Eevee your buddy Pokemon and walk 10km.

- Then you can evolve your Eevee as your assigned buddy at night to unlock Umbreon, or during the day for Espeon.

- You can easily tell if it is day or night by looking at the color of your map or listening to the game’s music.

- You need to ensure that you have a good signal before evolving.

- The game needs to know the time of day in your exact location.

- If your signal drops at the wrong moment, you get a Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon no matter how far you walk.

In Attack: Espeon is ranked 13th and Flareon 18th

In Defense: Umbreon clocks in on the 16th.
- In HP: Vapoeron ranks a respectable 10th
- Leafeon: is a solid grass-type Pokemon with some decent moves. It is stronger than the likes of Venusaur, Torterra, and Roserade. But inferior to the likes of Exeggutor, Shaymin and Legendary Celebi.
- Glaceon: is the stronger of the gen 4 evolutions for Eevee. Glaceon ranks as one of the better ice-type Pokemon in the game. It is only behind Mamoswine and legendary Pokemon Regice and Articuno. It outclasses the likes of Weavile and Jynx with ease.
- Flareon: is not as powerful as Moltres or Entei. But these two are legendary Pokemon that cannot be found, caught or powered up as easily. It is still definitely the best non-legendary fire Pokemon option in the game.
- Vaporeon: is beaten by both Kyogre and Gyarados. Kyogre is the other legendary. Gyarados is far more difficult to evolve from the lowly Magikarp. It is a great water Pokemon option alongside something like a Blastoise with a good IV.
- Jolteon: does not rank on the best Pokemon list but finds itself in a similar situation to Flareon. It is a great, viable electric-type Pokemon. It is only hand-over-fist beaten by Zapdos and Raikou, legendary beasts.
- Espeon: have fewer rivals in the Psychic-type category. It has two legendary Pokemon to compete with Mewtwo and Latios. It is predictably worse than this pair but it is superior to most other Psychic Pokemon in the game.
Umbreon: finds itself as one of the best Dark-type Pokemon in the game. It is only really bested in super effective damage output by Tyranitar, a third evolution and one of the best Pokemon in the game in general.
Guarantee Eevee Evolution without the name trick
Leafeon and Glaceon both are reliably evolved from spinning a Mossy Lure or a Glacial Lure. After spinning, a Pokestop with these Lure Modules becomes active. The next Eevee you evolve becomes its leaf or ice form. You need to be in the range of the Lure Module. You see the chosen Eevee evolution icon change once you spin one of these lured Pokestops.
Espeon and Umbreon both evolve after walking with the Eevee as your buddy Pokemon for 10 kilometers. The buddy Eevee evolve during the night will yield Umbreon while the day will yield Espeon. When you evolve Eevee, it still needs to be your buddy Pokemon for this trick to work.
