Here’s Every Nintendo Switch Game Available Now

Nintendo succeeded against all odds with the Switch’s intuitive and innovative design. It is capable of transitioning from a portable to a living room console. Alongside the Switch’s release was the universally praised The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild provides it the killer app. It needs to quickly rise to the top of the console sales charts and dramatically increase Nintendo’s revenue. There are big first-party games such as Mario and Fire Emblem. Another strong aspect of the Switch is its third-party support.

There are games such as Mortal Kombat 11 and Octopath Traveler. Ther is plenty of ports too such as Assassin’s Creed III and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The library only seems to be expanding and improving with every consecutive year. The Switch already has hundreds of games. There are still a lot of upcoming Switch games to see out in 2020. Some new releases are Pokemon Sword and Shield, or the interesting little indie adventure Roki. This list also looks beyond the last months of the year to all of the exciting releases heading our way in 2020 such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore.

  • Luigi’s Mansion 3

This game is releasing on October 31, 2019. Luigi’s Mansion titles have awesome Luigi-themed, ghost-sucking gameplay. It is basically Ninty Ghostbusters and now there is a Switch version. A new trailer shown off at E3 2019 shown off Luigi wielding his new upgraded Poltergust G00 and finally give the first proper glimpse of gameplay. The vacuum is rather handy in the haunted mansion. It can blow away ghosts and knock down the apparitions defenses.

  • Pokemon Sword and Shield

The releasing date of Pokemon Sword and Shield is November 15, 2019. When Pokefreaks tide themselves over with Pokken Tournament DX on Switch, it is not the same as getting a full-blown Pokemon adventure to dig into. A pair of Pokemon Sword and Shield games will introduce Gen 8 Pokemon alongside a brand new region, Galar. During E3 2019, a lot of Sword and Shield goodness shed light on a new feature known as Dynamax. It essentially transforms your Pokemon into giants and makes their moves more powerful. The ability adds a new level of strategy to the battles. It can only be used once per battle and lasts for just three turns.

  • Assassins Creed: Rebel Collection

    Assassins Creed:

The releasing date of this game is December 6, 2019. The Rebel Collection brings both games and all additional DLC to the console with new features including motion aiming and touches controls. Black Flag puts you in the shoes of pirate Edward Kenway in the Caribbean. Both are great entries in the franchise and certainly be welcome additions to the Switch library.

  • Roki

The releasing date of this game is winter 2019. This adventure game is described as a dark contemporary fairy tale. It features puzzles, exploration and a touching narrative. It is also very notable for its mention of having non-violent game-play and accessible controls. It is one of the more interesting upcoming releases heading to the Switch. 

  • Pine

This action-adventure game allows you to take on the role of Hue who belongs to one of the last remaining tribes of humans on the island of Albamare. You need to find your way through the world in which he lives, where all creatures have lives, goals, quests, and paths of their own. You have to fight and trade finds ways to influence the ecology and more in search of a new home. There are puzzles to solve too, a vast combat system and more. 

  • The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics 

It is one of the most surprising and unexpected announcement to come out of E3 2019 is the reveal of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics. The game allows you to play through the events of the series in a grid-based tactical format. You will experience new characters, stories, and environments in the world of the classic fantasy adventure. 

  • Shovel Knight: King of Cards

Shovel Knight is one of the great Nintendo Switch games. But you get more Shovel Knight on Switch. That comes in the form of Shovel Knight: King of Cards. It is the final adventure in the Treasure Trove saga. You play as King Knight as you fight your way across four never before seen worlds and 30 fresh courses with some new moves to boot. It also includes a high flying spin. 

  • Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore

The worlds of Fire Emblem and Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei series collide in Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore. The original release on Wii U is one of the most coveted titles on Nintendo’s previous platform. The new version of the JRPG comes to Switch includes a new song as well as additional story content. Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening is also returning as his darker Mirage Lord self.

  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons

This time the Animal Crossing world is on a dreamy tropical island with more activities than ever before. New Horizons allows to decorating the entire world from the adorable campsite and tent to the surrounding areas. And also craft all manner of items and clothes using the new workbench, complete with fishing, cooking, digging, chopping down trees, gardening, and experiencing the changing seasons. It allows you to play with up to eight friends on the same island. 

  • Cris Tales

    Cris Tales

It is set in a dark, expansive fairy-tale world. You work to uncover and unravel the Empress’ complex plot to destroy the world by making choices in the past, present, and future. The studio sights the likes of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI as sources of inspiration with a turn-based battle system. 

  • Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2 

Dynasty Warriors with its endless procession of idiot enemy fodder whose only goal is to give your attack button a workout is certainly divisive. Dragon Quest Heroes is a surprisingly delightful take on the musou genre. It takes the series’ classic RPG framework and dressing it around real-time action combat and monster collection. This combo includes the entire first game along with its sequel.

  • Yokai Watch 4

    Yokai Watch 4

It follows a similar format in that you collect critters that also function as your companions as a young kid. It is already looking incredible and actually may make Pokemon Let’s Go look a bit 3DS era. It introduces a brand new item called the Yokai Ark. It allows the players to travel between three worlds that are all set in different time periods and feature their own protagonist.
