Follow the given below steps:

    • First of all, you need to insert the new SIM and turn OFF iMessage. For this, you need to go to the Settings then scroll down and then click on Messages. Then switch off iMessage.imessages off
    • You can also open the Settings then FaceTime section and then turn off FaceTime. It removes your phone number.
    • You need to change the password of your Apple ID if the phone number that you need to delete set on the iPhone is not reachable to you. It removes the phone number from all of your synced iDevices such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
    • Then turn off your device and wait for at least 5 minutes.
    • When you reboot your iPhone, edit the details of your phone number by entering the new number.
    • Then open the Settings then Phone and ensure My Number reflects your new number. If it not reflects, you can edit this.
    • You should also ensure that the time & date settings in your iPhone are set to automatic. You can find them in Settings then tap on the General and then tap Date & Time.
    • Then you need to turn on iMessage again. Then go to the Message settings and turn on iMessage.
    • Now the iMessage activates for the new number by checking Send & Receive As.
    • You can view your new number in the Send & Receive section.
    • If you cannot view your new number or it displays your old number, you can repeat the whole procedure.

If the new number is displayed, then it’s done.

Delete the Phone Number from iMessage on iPhone

You always receive iMessage from other iPhone users if you use iMessage. But if you need to switch from iPhone to Android or other platforms, it causes issues.   • Then Reset the network settings by opening the Settings.

  • Then turn on both iMessage and FaceTime
  • Then check if the issue resolves by sending a text message.

  • First of all, you have to open the Settings.
  • Then go to Messages and then click Send & Receiveclick Send & Receive
  • You need to log out your Apple ID account
  • Then turn off iMessage and wait for few seconds
  • Then turn on iMessage
  • This makes iMessage to re-activate with your iPhones current number
  • You need to log in with your Apple ID if required.

  • First of all, you need to backup your device with iCloud or iTunes
  • Then log out from FaceTime

  • You need to again login with your Apple ID
