As we mentioned above, deleting your account leaves no chances for recovery. It is set in stone. Once you delete your account, everything associated with the user is deleted. Along with your timeline, posts, and your messages. Facebook can take up to 90 days to permanently clear out your activity from its backup systems! Ways to Permanently Delete my Facebook Account?

It is suggested to save a copy of your past Facebook activity before deleting your account permanently. Facebook provides that option to download all your activities before to set up your account for the final delegation! Though it’s not mandatory, you’d want to keep a copy just for the record.

  • Click on Your Facebook Information in the left column

  • Here, you’ll get an option to deactivate or delete your account. Select permanently delete account and then click on continue to account deletion.
  • Facebook will now navigate you to a page similar as shown below. You’ll also have an option to download all your information as well as posts before deleting your account. Plus, it’ll also notify you about any page that you are the only admin. You can add an admin to keep the page active and accessible.

  • Click Delete Account.
  • Enter your password, click Continue and then click Delete Account.

  • Open your Facebook app
  • Tap the three lines on the top right corner

  • Navigate to Account Ownership and Control

  • Select Delete Account and tap Continue to Account Deactivation.
  • Before you tap Delete Account, you’ll get an option to download all your information. It’s not mandatory to opt for it, but just in case you need a record of your past facebook post you can go for it.
  • Enter your password click continue and then delete your account!

P.S. Don’t forget to uninstall the Facebook application.
