  1. Turn On My Photo Stream on iPhone Under Settings, iCloud

This is one such factor that many users ignore on their iOS device. Make sure that the Photo Stream is enabled at iCloud and Settings. To do so, follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. For iCloud.Turn on Shared Photos Stream

Step 2: Next, you need to click on Your Name, which is mentioned at the top of the list
Step 3: Tap on iCloud → Photos
Step 4: Enable it.
Step 5: Turn on Shared Photos Stream 

      2.  From Settings

Step 1: Navigate to the Settings
Step 2: Locate Photos and tap on it
Step 3: Enable My Photo Stream
Step 4: Next, toggle on Shared Album

   2. Ensure Enough Power on your iPhone

Many iPhone users still don’t understand the significance of the battery power. This is one of the reasons due to which My Photostream does not work on your iPhone. It is necessary to have enough battery power on the device to run My Photo Stream.

If your iPhone has less than 20 % of battery, then My Photo Stream will remain disabled. Therefore, make sure that your device has enough power or else plug into the charger. There are a few more tips to save battery consumption. You can disable Siri, location service, and other visual effects to save power on your device.

3. Change Wi-Fi Connection/Check Wi-Fi Connection

The Photo Stream is designed to work in a manner that it would only remain active if you close the camera app. Your photos cannot get synced otherwise. Moreover, minimizing the Camera app also does not work, you need to disable Camera app completely.

 5. Ensure to Log in with Same Apple ID

 6.  Restart/Reboot your iPhone

Rebooting or restarting is the universal way to solve minor issues on the device. It is an old-school technique to remove a few technical glitches and bugs. Therefore, you can try it in the first place.

For iPhone 6 and previous version users: To restart the phone, press and hold down the Home button along with the Wake/Sleep button. Keep holding it until Apple Logo appears on the screen.

For iPhone 7 and 7 Plus users: To reboot the phone, you need to press the Home button and Volume Down button until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

 7. Read Only Permission

Make sure not to change the default folder for photo Stream in Windows. If you did,   then you will find yourself in trouble. However, you can solve the issue with a few simple steps mentioned below.

Step 1: First, right-click on the Photo Stream folder.

Step 2: Disable the read-only permission by unchecking the box.

Step 3: Now, tap on Apply.

Unfortunately, read-only permission can be frustrating if you are using windows. On the other side, since Apple uses an outsider service to change the content of your Photo stream, you must unchecked the read-only permission.
