Start with finding the iPad’s model number
It is the simplest thing to start with. It does not even require you to switch the iPad on. Turn the pad and take a look at the back of it. Locate the iPad writing, beneath it look closer. In smaller prints you will find the model number written.

- The long number ending with A is not the model but SKU number, do not be confused
