How to Enter DFU mode in iPhone 7

Step 1: Firstly, you need to switch off your iPhone &, if you never attempted this technique

Step 2: Now connect your iPhone 7 with your personal computer or Mac

Step3: Make sure that you have iTunes running on your Mac and is of the latest version

Step 4: Next up, you need to press and hold down the ON/OFF button for at least three seconds. The one who doesn’t know where the ON/OFF switch is, you can find it on the right side of your device.

Step 5: Next up, continue holding ON/OFF button and press & Hold volume down button which is provided on the left side on your device.

Step 6: Now, at least for 10 seconds, keep pressing and holding both the buttons.( note that if you have happened to press them for too long. You will find an Apple Logo on the screen, and thus, you need to restart the whole process again.)

Step 7: Now, you should release On/Off button , but keep holding the volume down button.( note that if you have held the buttons for too long, you will receive a message notifying you “Plug into iTunes”. Thus, you need to restart the whole process again.

Step 8: If you find the screen turning completely black. That means you have successfully managed to complete the process to make your phone enter into DFU mode.

Once you have accurately performed the steps mentioned above, iTunes on your computer will notify with the message that it is now able to detect your iPhone 7. Now, you will be able to restore your device using back up.
